UNDERWORLD aims to put attention onto sensitive sea life and its fragile environment. Forms are made using the ghost nets collected from the sea bottom. Realised in collaboration with Sotenäs Marine Recycling Center.

Borås Art Museum explores light- and projection-based art in a major exhibition at the Museum and in the urban public space. Through visual and audio-visual media, artists examine our perception of the world, philosophical notions and natural phenomena. This exhibition reflects on subjects that are pertinent to global contemporary issues concerning the environment and current events in society and politics.
Participating artists: Matej Bizovicar, Mikael Ericsson, Tamar Frank, Paul Friedlander, Bertrand Gadenne, Rune Guneriussen, Ema Kobal, Kari Kola, Lena Mattsson, Raha Rastifard, Egill Sæbjörnsson, Yoko Seyama, Aleksandra Stratimirovic, Beam Team och Cecilia Ömalm. In collaboration with Island of Light Smögen.
Norska konstnären förbereder sig för ljuskonstfestivalen på Smögen:
”Brutalt ärligt”
Ljuskonstfestivalen Island of light är ett besöksmål på Smögen under hösten – i år kommer en bit av den till Borås. En ljuskonstutställning med ett 15-tal
konstnärer planeras till sista helgen i oktober, och ska visas både på konstmuseet och ute på stan.

Im Winter fehlt es vor allem in den nordischen Ländern an Licht. Dann locken Lichtkunstfestivals Bewohner und Gäste in den urbanen Raum, um Architektur und Plätze durch Lichtinstallationen neu zu entdecken. Die LICHT-Redaktion stellt vier Events für 2020 vor.
